Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 is reportedly spotted by Gizmochina on the company’s official website (Mi.com). Fortunately, Gizmochina managed to take a screenshot of the listing which reveals the key specs of the yet unannounced device.
The listing shows that the device will have a 5.5-inch OLED display like its predecessor. Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM and 4100mAh of battery. One of the most notable upgrade from last year’s model is the 16MP dual camera set-up as compared to 13MP dual camera set-up from its predecessor. The handset is also said to come in an all-metal unibody and 2.5D curved glass display. According to Gizmochina, Redmi Pro 2 will be priced at around 1199 yuan, approximately Rs. 11000 in India.
Redmi Pro 2 will also expected to be available in three different variants:
- 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM (Helio X20 SoC), CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs. 14,000)
- 3GB RAM + 64GB ROM (Helio X25 SoC), CNY 1,699 (approx. Rs.16,000)
- 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM (Helio X25 SoC), CNY 1,999 (approx. 18, 500)
Last year, the Redmi Pro was priced starting from 1499 yuan (approx. Rs. 14,000) for the 3GB + 32GB model with Helio X20 SoC, 1699 yuan (approx. Rs. 16,000) for the 3GB + 64GB model with Helio X25 processor and 1999 yuan (approx. Rs. 18,500) for the 4GB + 128GB model based on Helio X25 SoC.
