Prerequisites
1. SP Flash Tool: Download
2. Vcom Driver: Download
3. Download the Stock ROM from the list above.
4. Charge your device upto 70% to avoid any shutdown during the procedure which might cause some big issue.
5. These ROM are only for YU devices. Please don’t try this on any other smartphones.
6. Backup all your data: Contacts, Photos, Apps & other files. (Although you will not lose other files except contacts & Apps, but it’s better to be on the safer side)
How to install Stock ROM in YU devices
Step 1. Download SP Flash tools and extract them inside a folder. (Create a new folder on the desktop.)
Step 2. Download and install Vcom Driver in your PC. (without installing Vcom Driver you cannot flash the device)
Step 3. Select your device and download the Stock ROM from the list above.
Step 4. Extract Downloaded ROM file inside the folder. (Make a new folder on your PC and extract Downloaded ROM file.)
Step 5. After extracting the ROM file, Go to SP Flash tools Folder and Run “flash tools.exe” file.
Step 6. Navigate the Download tab and then click over Load Scatter File. As soon as pop up is opened, search for the Scatter File from the ROM folder and Click OK.
Step 7. Click the Download Button.
Step 8. Connect your phone to PC or Laptop via USB cable.
Step 9. As soon as the phone connects the PC or Laptop, the Flashing process will begin. Once the Flashing process is completed, the green button will appear.
Step 10. Once the process is completed, disconnect your phone and close the SP Flash Tool.
Step 11. Reboot your phone once the process is completed to see that you have flashed the latest version.
Step 12. The first boot might take 4-5 mins. Calm down. Enjoy!!!
