There have been numerous rumors about HMD’s upcoming smartphones. Most of the fans’ excitement goes with Nokia 9 which apparently more high-end than the company’s existing flagship, the Nokia 8. We also heard about the Nokia 2 which if rumors are to believe, by far be the cheapest of the whole Nokia line-up. While it doesn’t seem to tickle the hungry brains of tech enthusiasts, it will do the work for people on a very tight budget who needs a decent smartphone. Nokia 2 will feature a massive 4,000mAh of battery, something we don’t see much in lower-end devices. How we hope it’s removable though.
Today, two new unknown Nokia Android smartphones leaks in China via 3C certification. Bearing models numbers TA-1041 and TA-1042, these smartphones is said to feature Qualcomm’s Quick Charge technology. However, we can’t provide a clearer screenshot of the listing as the one shared on Baidu isn’t even decipherable. But if you have the hobby of putting back the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, the photo is provided below. Patience needed.
There are two possible choices here as to what could be these devices. One, of course, is that it might just be another Nokia 8 variant for the Chinese market. I’m talking about the TA-1041. We all know for sure that HMD is working on a customized version of Nokia 8 for some specific markets. Last day, a rumor about the Nokia 8 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage circulated online. It was however then confirmed by HMD and will be first available in Germany next month for €699, about €90 more than the 4GB/64GB model. It was also passed the FCC certification thereby hinting it’s imminent launch in the US market. There’s a catch though. It will only be available in polished blue color which honestly I’m not a fan of. Copper gold for the win!
As for the TA-1042, it could also possibly be the intractable Nokia 9 or the more elusive Nokia 7. What else can HMD do with Nokia 8, right? Who knows. But of course, take this with a grain of salt as we didn’t have access to any of this information to confirm the given details other than the one posted by the user. Notwithstanding, we advise you to follow us on our social media accounts to hear the latest updates about the Nokia 9 and other technology news.
