Oppo is having a busy 2017 with a lot of rumours and leaks surrounding the company. A new smartphone has leaked on TENNAA with a different approach to the bezel-less display game. The handset is expected to be a midrange offering and it is exciting to know that the taller bezel free displays are being adopted in smartphones from all budget ranges.
The leaked smartphone, which is expected to be called the Oppo A73 sports a 6-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Several smartphone manufacturers have shown us different implementations of bezel-less displays and Oppo is no different. The smartphone lacks the bottom bezel completely and sports a minor bezel at the top.
It is worthy to note that the Mi Mix 2 does the opposite and eliminates the bezel on the top and the con is that the front facing camera is placed awkwardly at the bottom. This problem seems to have been fixed with the Oppo A73.
Talking specs, the smartphone is expected to be powered by an Octa-core SoC clocked in at 2.5GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage. A 13MP camera is set to make the cut on the rear followed by a 16MP selfie shooter. The Oppo A73 will be fuelled by a 3115mAh battery and will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
