Now, OnePlus has announced in a blog post that the company is partnering with DxO, the company behind DxOMark which gives the camera scores to flagship phones. Last year, the Google Pixel scored a DxOMark score of 89 which, at that time, was the highest score of any smartphone. Just recently, we saw that the HTC U 11 scored a DxOMark score of 90 dethroning the Pixel. This meant that the DxOMark score is now a benchmark of the camera quality on the phone and it is highly respected. Google used the Pixel’s DxOMark score in their launch presentation as well which shows its importance. This means that we will be seeing some great scores for the OnePlus 5 as the company will be giving its inputs on camera quality in the OnePlus 5. This could also mean that the OnePlus 5 could achieve the highest score on DxOMark.
As per the past leaks, the OnePlus 5 could come with a dual-rear camera setup but there are rumors that the phone could come with dual-front camera setup as well. Stay tuned for more news on the OnePlus 5 as we know more.
