HMD Global has already started sending invites for their MWC 2018 event, but the one making noise isn’t going to debut in the tech exhibit. Insert Nokia 10, HMD’s mythical beast that has a promising hardware enough to propel the Nokia brand in the higher-end market again.
The phone has been subject to many leaks in the past few weeks, but none of them are more interesting than the sketches that leaked a few days ago. Thankfully, our friend from YouTube, Concept Creator, took inspiration from the leaked sketches and brought the handset to life.
The video render of the Nokia 10 shows a phone with a rather familiar design. It has a “metallic-looking” 3D glass backplate, similar to that of the HTC U11 and Nokia 7, and an “Oreo-shaped” camera bump following the design of the old Lumia 1020.
Unlike the leak though, the render only shows a typical Zeiss-supplied dual-camera setup, instead of the penta-lens configuration that has been making noise lately. The flash is also dual-LED instead of quad-LED flash shown on the sketch. The sensor is also transposed to left. Below the camera plate lies the fingerprint sensor.
On the front, there is a dual-speakers and a curved full-screen Super AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio. On the top bezel lies a Zeiss-branded dual-camera setup alongside number of sensors.
