We are finally starting to see development on the Mate 10 Pro story now. Although we are a more than a month apart from its coming out party. A new live image of the phone has popped up on rumor land Weibo. Now, we do know from previous leaks that the Huawei Mate 10 will be a regular screen phone as we have seen 360-degree renders that leave nothing to the imagination.
This new image shows us close shots of the Mate 10 Pro front. But it doesn’t show the back. To be frank, at first glance, it doesn’t seem as impressive as the Galaxy S8. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro does have minimal top and bottom bezels, but it does not have a curved display. Also, we can see EMUI skin running on the display of the phone. The handset also does not have a fingerprint sensor at the front, which is understandable.
If this is the full-screen display the Huawei CEO has promised, then they will have kept their promise. But we do think they will fall behind the Galaxy S8 in terms of the Wow factor. Anyways, among other components, the Huawei Mate 10 duo will likely sport the new shiny Kirin 970 10nm-based silicon. The Mate 10 is expected to integrate a 6.1-inch Quad HD display, 6 GB RAM, 4,000 mAh battery and Android Oreo out of the box. While shutterbugs can expect a Leica branded 34 MP dual camera setup at the back and a 16 MP front selfie shooter.
