Xiaomi recently launched its Flagship Mi 6 in the China. While many other countries are still waiting for the Mi 6, the Chinese company is gearing up for another launch, of MI Note 3 in China.
MI Note 3 is the successor of last year,s Mi Note 2. After the leaks of Samsung Galaxy Note 8, now the upcoming Mi Note 3 was leaked from Weibo in exclusive images. The image shows the black variant of MI Note 3 with dual rear cameras and the edge to edge display of the device, housing a home button below. Fingerprint sensor will be integrated into the home button as well.
MI Note 3 is expected to powered by latest Snapdragon 835, with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage options. Mi may also continue to use the 5.7″ OLED curved display, but with a 2K resolution. The rear may house 12MP + 12MP dual cameras, much like MI 6 and the front camera is expected to have an 8MP sensor or higher. The Design may also receive some enhancements and will be much similar to Mi 6.
The battery will be more or less, around 4000 mAh with fast charging capabilities. It will be sure coming with a USB C-type port. But It may ditch 3.5 mm, Jack, as it already happened in MI 6. Xiaomi will provide an Adapter in compensation. MI Note 3 will boot up Android Nougat with the new MIUI 9 out of the box. Further, it may come with Splash resistance which we have seen in it’s latest flagship Mi 6.
Expected Price and Availability:
The Price may remain similar to that of last year’s MI Note 2 at around CNY 3,000. Mi Note 2 price starts at CNY 2,799(Rs 27,600) for 4GB/64GB version and a 6GB/128GB Global Edition for CNY 3,499( Rs 34,500).
What Remains the major question with Xiaomi devices is, Availability. Despite the fantastic specifications, Many countries are not getting all the Mi products. Even Last year’s Mi Note 2 followed the same fate. So mostly, MI Note 3 availability also remains limited to China. The launch will happen in Q3 of this year, by August. Availability has always been a problem with Xiaomi products. Even in India, It is facing out of stock issues.
Recent leaks revealed that Mi is also working on a lite variant of Mi 6, likely to be named as Mi 6c with toned down specs. We will keep you updated, once the complete details are known.
