Huawei is in the process of releasing the successor to the Honor 8 which the company launched last year. Huawei launched the Huawei Honor 8 last year and the phone was the first smartphone from the company to come with dual-camera setup on the back. We have already reported that Huawei is working on releasing the Honor 9 later this year. It seems that the fans of Honor brand will not have to wait much as the Honor 9 will be released on June 12 in China. The news of the launch of Huawei Honor 9 was known due to the leaked poster supposedly from Huawei. The poster was posted by a Weibo user which says the date of June 12 as the release of Honor 9.
Alongside Honor 9, we would also see Huawei releasing its waterproof Honor Band 3. Interestingly, last year too, Huawei released its fitness tracker band, Honor Band A1, alongside Honor 8, which is the predecessor of Honor 9. The poster of the Huawei Honor Band 3 was also released by the same user on Weibo.
According to the user who posted this posters on Weibo, the Honor Band 3 would be waterproof. We have also known that the Honor 9 would come with dual-camera setup as seen on the Honor 8. It is still unclear whether the Honor 9 will have dual-cameras on the front as well as back.
According to the leaked specifications of the Honor 9, the device is expected to feature rear dual camera of 20MP+12MP and 8MP single camera on the front. Further, the Honor 9 will feature a 5.15-inch TFT Full HD display in addition to the rumored curved display. Also it will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz.
