We all knew that Asus was developing the Zenfone Go 2, a budget handset. Now, the smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench, which could mean that the Zenfone Go 2 will be launching pretty soon.
The Geekbench listing reveals various details of the smartphone including specifications. The Zenfone Go 2 carries the model number X015D, falling inline with the previous TENAA listing.
The Asus Zenfone 2 will sport a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with HD resolution. It is worthy to note that the Zenfone Go came only with a 5-inch display. With display sizes going up each year, this is a welcome addition.
As for specs, the Zenfone 2 Go will be powered by the MediaTek MT6750 SoC, an octa-core CPU clocked in at 1.5GHz. This will be backed up by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Other leaked information have claimed that another variant of the Zefone Go 2 with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM will also make an appearance. All this will reportedly be backed up by a huge 4,850 mAh battery.
On the camera department, the Zenfone 2 Go is said to sport a dual-camera setup on the rear consisting of two 13MP sensors. On the front, a 5MP camera will be present for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone will run ZenUI on top of Android 7.0 Nougat.
