What’s working

Install Resurrection Remix ROM in Redmi 2/Prime
Flashing from other ROMs like MIUI, CM ROM, flyOS or any other
Step 1. Download the ROM file from the below link & place it in your SDcard/Internal memory.
Step 2. Switch off your device. Press & hold Power+Volup+Voldown buttons. This will boot your device into TWRP Recovery (Install the TWRP recovery given above).
Step 3. Go to Wipe> Advanced Option
Step 4. Select data, System, Cache & Dalvik cache. Swipe to confirm. Please don’t select Internal memory & SDcard.
Step 5. Go back to TWRP menu & select Install zip from SDcard.
Step 6. Locate the downloaded zip file from the file explorer.
Step 7. Swipe to Install and wait for the message “Install successful!”
Step 8. Now to flash Gapps package, Go back to Install. Select Gapps package & swipe to Install.
Step 9. Now clear cache & Dalvik cache.

Step 2. Reboot your device into Recovery mode by holding Power+Volup+Voldown buttons

Hello!
I currently have ResurrectionRemix v5.6.3-20160217 installed and whant to upgrade to the latest 20160221 release. I have downloaded it and placed the zip file in the download folder of the phone. When I boot into recovery and to select the zip-file, I cant find the download folder. The folder structure is different when in recovery mode. The SD card is installed as “Adoptable Storage”.
Where do I find download folder or where do I place the zip-file so that it is visible when in recovery mode?

I already boot into recovery using fastboot and did everything correctly again and now It is optimizing apps again and again . what should I do now.
Format system before flashing the ROM.
Ive installed this rom on my redmi2 prime. bt now it only gets stuck on Boot screen on which Resurrection remix is appearing. Its been whole night. It gets stuck. Now I can not even go to recovery mode. Please please help.
Switch off your device, hold the Volume Down key and the Power button at the same time to enter Fastboot mode, then connect the phone to a computer. Now flash the recovery file through ADB. Flash the ROM after formatting system.
When Ressurection Rom is installed, i cant boot into recovery mode anymore.
I do this: Press shut down phone -> When phone shakes press power+vol down button.
When the MIUI rom was installed, this worked fine.
Now with the Ressurection Rom recovery mode won’t come up anymore.
Any tips?

Download the latest version & Goto recovery. Clear cache & flash the ROM. That’s it! Don’t format and data or system files. This is also known as Dirty flashing which means you are just replacing the system files. Hope this helps you!

I m usind After two days Resurrection Remix ROM (6.0.1) Know Bugs Following:
1. Some time calls doesn’t rejected.
2. Launcher force closed some time.
3. File Manager doesn’t move the many files in normal mode, only access root mode.
4. Battery Backup Ok, But better for MIUI Rom.
