Redmi Note 3 developers never fail to surprise device owners. Just after Android N started rolling out for Nexus devices, CM 14 ROMs started rolling for flagship devices. Android N comes many new requested updates from Android community. Redmi Note 3 was also among few flagship devices that received Cyanogenmod 14 ROM. As per the developer, the initial build is stable and can be used for daily use. - CyanogenMod 14.1 ROM (kenzo): Download
- Google Apps package: Gapps download (ARM64 > Android 7.0 > Micro & above)
Overall the ROM seems much better than the stock & offers lot more features. I didn’t find any issue to worry about. You can flash custom kernel too & increase performance but you can’t report bugs after installing custom kernel. Let us know how the ROM is better/bad than stock firmware. (Source)
