Vivo has already launched the Vivo X9 and the Vivo X9 Plus smartphones last year in India. The phone have been marketed through the offline channels in the country and the phone have done well in the local markets. The company is now working on the upgraded model of the Vivo X9 Plus which will be called the Vivo X9s Plus. The name Vivo X9s suggests that the phone will be a smaller variant of the Vivo X9 Plus and this is indeed true.
According to the leaked specsheet which is revealed at TENAA, the Chinese certification site, the Vivo X9s Plus will come with 5.85 inch OLED display with 1920 × 1080 resolution which will have a battery capacity of 3920mAH. The phone will have 4GB RAM and 64GB in-built storage. The phone will run on the latest Android version, the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.
Vivo X9s Plus will be powered by 1.95GHz unnamed octa-core processor according to the listing on TENAA. We believe that this should be the recently launched Snapdragon 660. If it is true then the device will likely be the first Snapdragon 660-powered phone. The smartphone is seen carrying dual selfie cameras on the TENAA listing which is of 20MP+5MP resolution while the main camera is of 16MP resolution. The phone has been listed in Gold color on TENAA.
As for the Vivo X9 Plus, the phone contains a 5.88-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor. This is paired with a 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB ROM. Power comes courtesy a 4000mAH battery with fast charging support. This phone also boasts of 20MP+8MP dual selfie camera and a 16MP primary shooter.
On comparing both the phones, the Vivo X9s Plus has received a slight upgrade from its predecessor but the main upgrade on the phone is its processor. The phone will be the first to be powered by Snapdragon 660 processor. Stay tuned for more details on the Vivo X9s Plus as we know more.
