Vivo is warming up for yet another smartphone launch in India. Following the launch of the Vivo Y69, the Chinese entrant has started sending out invites for the Vivo V7+ launch scheduled in Mumbai. The event is to be held on September 7th.
Curiously, looking at the teaser, it seems to be a so-called bezel less phone. The company has some hints for us pointing to the stand out features of the device. “Clear Shot”, “Clear Moment” reads the invite front and center. It is quite “clear” this device camera will focus on great selfies like the Vivo V5s that focused on the same feature.
Now, what we know from gossip in China, is that the phone will sport the new Snapdragon 660 SoC, 6 GB RAM and a 3,500 mAh battery. The Vivo V7+ is supposed to be a 5.7-inch handset with Full HD resolution display protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The metal body phone will have 128 GB of internal storage and Android Nougat running from the get go.
Gathering the tidbits about the camera, we assume that it will have a dual front camera setup with a duo of 20 MP + 8 MP lenses running the show. While the rear camera will be a 16 MP shooter. This also falls in line with the Vivo V5 that also has dual front cameras and is a”V” series phone.
For options related to connectivity, users will probably see , Dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB 2.0, etc. All this is in no way confirmed, but just what we can deduce from current info. We wouldn’t have to wait long though.
