August 23 is not far away. What is special about the date, you ask? Samsung’s “Unpacked” event, where it would reveal its Note series flagship- the Galaxy Note 8. There are two things which make the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 a big deal. Using Note 8, Samsung obviously has plans to revamp the face of its accused Note series after the prominent Note 7 fiasco. Also Note 8 is Samsung’s first premium phone to have a dual-camera setup onboard. Hence, Samsung cannot possibly deny the fact that once their upcoming device is launched, it would be put against the likes of iPhone 7 and OnePlus 5, to test its picture-taking abilities.
A few days back, we told you how the twitter leakster Evan Blass (aka EVLeaks) posted a Midnight Black render of the upcoming Note device in all its glory. And now we have a YouTube handler (XEETECHCARE), who has uploaded a video showing the device from all sides. While the device in the video was in a screen locked state, we were pretty much able to get a full 360 degree view of our upcoming Samsung handset, along with the S-Pen.
In the video, Note 8 is clearly carrying forward the design legacy of its beautiful Galaxy siblings (S8 and S8+), as it is found to have the stunning Infinity Display with minimalistic top and bottom bezels. The device looks a bit more rectangular than S8 and S8+, having 6.3” display with a screen resolution of 1440×2960. The back of the device features the much awaited dual-camera setup (Samsung’s first), with a heart rate monitor in between the camera and the awkwardly-placed Fingerprint Scanner. Below the whole setup, one can find the manufacturer’s logo in the characteristic design. In addition to the Fingerprint Scanner, the phone also gets Facial and Iris Scanner for additional security.
The phone is expected to ship with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage capacity. While the US variant would be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor, the rest of the world would get a Exynos 8895 SoC onboard. The camera setup is expected to feature dual 12 megapixel wide-angle and telephoto lens. Analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities believes the smartphone will support 3x optical zoom with optical image stabilization.
Summing it up Samsung has its ace rolled up its sleeve and it will be launched near around iPhone 8 launching hope these leaks be true as this design is perfected and adding up the design quirks and perfecting already mastered design. Two flagships in a year, is Samsung killing the vibe?
