We all know that Samsung is currently in overdrive with the launch of their Galaxy Note8 phablet flagship right around the corner. In fact, over the weekend the Korean electronics behemoth has released two teasers showing some of the new features debuting with the handset. Please note that both these trailers are in Korean.
The first of these teasers is focussed on the camera, it shows how the addition a dual camera will allow for optical zoom and the bokeh effect that users will be able to get while capturing images.
The second one focusses on the S-Pen. One of the defining features of Samsung’s Galaxy Note range of handsets, it shows a user doodling with their S-Pen which is quite rare these days but Samsung wants you to know that you have the capability in your hands.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 will be announced on the 23rd August at an Unpack event in New York. The flagship phablet is supposedly carrying a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 (US model) or an Exynos 8895 SoC (international variant). The chipset would be coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory which should be expandable via microSD card. On the display front, it is to feature a 6.3-inch Super-AMOLED panel in the same Infinity Display format as the Galaxy S8 range. The Galaxy Note8 would be the first Samsung smartphone to feature a dual camera setup.
On the OS front, the phablet has been spotted running Android v.7.x, Nougat on multiple leaked benchmarks. This is most likely since it would be under the company’s latest TouchWiz UI skin.
