Samsung is all set to announce the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8+ to the world in an ‘unpacked’ event which will be held on March 29 in New York. We have already seen all the leaks of the smartphone ranging from hardware to software to benchmarks of the phone. We have also seen all the leaked photos of the phone which reveal the design of the phone. This makes us think about what could be leaked from Samsung further, well, we still have to know about Samsung’s another flagship of the year, its Note series. Samsung has already confirmed that the Note 7 fiasco wouldn’t mean that the Note series from Samsung is dead. Samsung will be launching the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 later this year.
Now, we have leaked sketches which suggest that this would indeed be true and Samsung will be launching a Note 8 device later this year. Courtesy of Slashleaks, we have now got the sketches of the mobile’s design from the top, bottom and the front of the phone which reveal that the Note 8 will also borrow the design language of Samsung’s S8 and will come with minimal bezels. As per the sketches, the phone will come with Samsung’s proprietary Stylus, the S pen and will include USB type-C port for charging.
We have also got leaked specifactions of Samsung Note 8 which include Snapdragon 835 and/or an Exynos chipset. It will pack in 6GB RAM and expandable storage which can be stretched upto 256GB. Further, the 6.4 inch screen will be of QHD+ quality or even 4K Super-Amoled display. Note 8 is expected to run on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with TouchWiz. The battery on board will be 3,600 mAh battery with fast charging. Other reported features include dual camera set-up, IP 68 rating and wireless fast charging.
Samsung Note 8 has also been reportedly codenamed “great” which could mean that Samsung is gearing up for this phone’s success as much as anything. Stay tuned as we know more.
