A new leak showcasing a flagship smartphone has appeared on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. There is no logo in the leaked image and hence we cannot assure you that it is a LeEco smartphone, however the design of the smartphone has features that are similar to a LeEco flagship.
The probable LeEco smartphone look great and sports a thin profile. The display is curved, just like the one found on the Galaxy S7 Edge. The image reveals the absence of the volume rockers on the side of the smartphone. This is rather interesting as no other smartphone manufacturer has removed the volume rockers before. This could mean that LeEco may be using a New Technology that the tech industry is yet to see. Also, the 3.5mm headphone jack seems to have been omitted from the smartphone.
The smartphone is expected the Snapdragon 835 SoC, which is the current top of the line processor from QualComm, coupled with 6GB of RAM. The device will carry a USB Type-C port which will double as a charging/data transfer port and as an audio output port(replacing the 3.5mm headphone jack).
As for optics, the flagship smartphone is said to carry a top-notch dual lens setup, which consists of a black and white sensor and a colour shooter.
There is no information about the release of the smartphone, and we can expect it to be launched within 2 months. LeEco has done a good job so far, providing flagship smartphones with great specs for a fraction of the price. We just hope that this trend does not change and LeEco continues to provide great smartphones at a lesser price.
