The fast-growing smartphone brand said on Twitter that the new flagship is the fastest seller amongst all its phones. Well, the OnePlus 5T took just 6 hours to break past all previous set highs. The company didn’t state any solid numbers or stats, which is typical of Chinese flash sale standards.

So, the OnePlus 5T went on sale yesterday in the US, Europe through the company’s official website. While in India, the handset was on a limited flash sale, but still, full-fledged sales should start from November 28. There have been talks on whether the OnePlus 5T is a worthy upgrade from OnePlus 5. But if you don’t happen to own a OnePlus 5, then the OnePlus 5T is a no-brainer. Also, the company has stopped production of the OnePlus 5 by now, and many countries don’t have it for sale anymore. In India, it will be sold as long as there is stock, after which the handset will be phased out.
The USP of the device is the full-screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It comes in 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB variants. It comes with Android Nougat but an Oreo update is scheduled for early 2018. In terms of specs, there isn’t any difference between the OnePlus 5 and 5T. The base variant cots $499 and the premium model costs $559.
