2018 has just begun and we’re off to our paces with some smartphone launches in January itself. The first to launch will be a refresh of the Nokia 6 2017. Now, Nokia has already sent invites for a January 5th event. Even then, we have our first look at leaked images of the Nokia 6 (2018).
The Nokia 6 (2018) did appear on benchmarking sites earlier thus revealing specs prematurely, as it often happens these days. But if we look at the design here, it would be fair to say Nokia has changed little. Also, it seems Nokia does care about trends in the industry. If this leak is legit, we’ll be seeing 18:9 displays as soon as tomorrow on Nokia’s mid-range handset. Because of that display, the fingerprint has been moved to the back as was the case with many other thin bezel phones in 2017.
The Nokia 6 (2018) also gets a sizable boost on paper. It is expected to rock a Snapdragon 630 chip, with 4 GB RAM. Details for the camera are not known but we do see a single shooter at the front and rear without a Zeiss branding. The handset should sport a 3,000 mAh battery if leaked info is spot on.
Either way, we’ll have to wait only 24 hours until all is revealed tomorrow of the Nokia 6 (2018).
