Back in August, Nokia launched the the Nokia 5 in India. It was a budget smartphone that featured mediocre specifications including just 2GB of RAM. Suddenly, Nokia has launched a new Nokia 5 with identical specs except the fact that it sports 3GB of RAM.
It is surprising to note that Nokia hasn’t even official let out a statement regarding this. However Flipkart has listed out the new variant on it’s website and it is set to go on sale on the midnight of November 6.
The Nokia 5 sports a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with HD resolution. It is powered by the Snapdragon 430 SoC which is clocked in at 1.4GHz. This is coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage which is expandable upto 128GB via a microSD card. As for optics, a 13MP rear camera is backed up by an 8MP selfie shooter. The Nokia 5 is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
It is also worthy to note that the Nokia 5 is dual SIM enabled with support for LTE and VoLTE.
The new variant of the Nokia 5 is priced at Rs.13,499 which is little higher than the 2GB RAM variant of the Nokia 5 which costs Rs.12,949. The device is available in Tempered Blue and Matte Black finishes.
