After a year of record-breaking losses, HTC looks set to rebound its mobile business with a fresh new flagship launch on November 2. Now, this has been a point of speculation as to which phone the Taiwanese firm wishes to launch on that day. Moreover, HTC is in no mood to give clues. Widespread opinion is that there shall be 1 of 2 phones undoubtedly. One of them is the HTC U11 Life. The other is the HTC U11 Plus. The former is an Android One undertaking by HTC, hence will bring stock Android like Xiaomi & Google’s latest lovechild, the Mi A1. The HTC U11 Plus is a flagship phone with bezel-less display and some more bells and whistles, rumours say.

Talking about the latest teaser by the company, it shows the back of the phone with a fingerprint reader. This sparks debates of a full screen on the front since HTC usually fixes the fingerprint reader on the front. This would mean that the phone is a full screen one. Earlier leaks on TENAA and other sites have revealed a bezel-less screen for the HTC U11 Plus. While the U11 Life is set to sport a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio display. But this doesn’t guarantee that the front to be bezel-less. Even the HTC Max had a rear fingerprint reader and it was still not bezel-less. So, all this is still speculation.
Latest info regarding the phone suggests the HTC U11 Plus has a 5.99-inch Quad HD+ display with the 18:9 aspect ratio. Since this is a flagship, the Snapdragon 835 SoC is expected. While two variants of the phone a 4 GB/6 GB RAM variant is also likely.
As far as the teaser shows, the rear camera will be a single shooter pegged to be 12 MP. The front will be an 8 MP lens. The U11 Plus will also possess IP68 rating if reports are to be believed. The HTC U11 Life, on the other hand, was scanned on Geekbench and we have some specs of the phone due to that encounter.
