The photos of the suspected iPhone 8 has been making rounds on the internet for months now, and it doesn’t seems to stop soon. Yesterday, another iPhone 8 dummy shared by Twitter leaker Onleaks shows a shiny iPhone 8 that corroborated the earlier leaks of the next-generation of iPhone devices.

The front of the dummy follows the same design leaks months prior. It features a dramatic bezelles display with a very minimal cutout on its top where the 3D front-facing camera, earpiece and sensors were placed. The rear of the device shows the vertically integrated dual-camera set-up with the dual tone flash placed in between the lenses. The camera bump and its vertical placement doesn’t look enticing at all, but is very necessary for a device that will be showcasing an advance augmented reality feature.
The rear of the dummy device is made up of glass which is expected for a device that will implement wireless charging.
The dummy shows up without any signs of a home button. There has been news saying that Apple will be walking on the same footsteps left by Samsung from its Galaxy S8 but the majority of questions is all about the Touch ID integration. Since Apple was reportedly scrapped the idea of the on-screen fingerprint sensor, we are wondering as to where it will be placed next.
Yet another iPhone 8 leaks on Weibo yesterday, with a Chinese caption “华强北率先发布iPhone8” which getting a little help from Google translate would result to “Huaqiang North first released iPhone8”. Huaqiangbei ( Lit. Huaqiang North) is a major electronic manufacturing hub in Shenzhen City, Province of Guangdong, China. The sprawling electronics marketplaces in Huaqiangbei have earned it a nickname as “China’s Silicon Valley”. The photo contains three iPhones in different color variants.
We will hear more about these leaks in coming weeks. So follow us on our social media and stay tuned, as we’ll keep you posted.
