The Huawei Mate 10 is another of this year’s flagships we have our keen eyes on. Huawei has started teasing the features of the premium phablet ahead of its likely October launch. Today, We have stumbled over a 25-second video clip on the German YouTube channel of Huawei. Apparently, an earlier render of a Mate 10 invite that shows an October 16th date is also set in Germany. The invite has a subtle 10 in the background of the image, so it is reasonable to assume that this is the Mate 10 event. It is to be held in Munich.
Coming to the video, this isn’t an iffy Weibo leak, it’s straight from Huawei. However, the video reveals precious little in way of detail. It does seem to advertise the lossless zoom that the Leica branded lenses will have. Last year’s Huawei Mate 9 had a great camera and this year might be even better.
Word around the rumor mill is that the Mate 10 might be gifted with a 16 MP RGB sensor, and a 23 MP monochrome sensor with f/2.0 aperture and laser autofocus. This is as per a report from iGeekPhone. Further, the phone is also rumored to receive a dual selfie cam like the Oppo F3. With what we are starting to hear about the LG V30 and Galaxy Note 8 we think Huawei might need to do a bit more than that this year to woo the public.
Let us know what do you think Huawei will come up with. Will the Leica branded lenses stand the test of fierce opponents like the LG V30 and the Galaxy Note 8?
