Huawei Enjoy 7S which is a successor to the Enjoy 6S is now official in China. The Enjoy 7S is a valuable upgrade from its predecessor and is a capable midranger priced well in its segment. The latest mid-ranger comes with the in-trend thin-bezel design, a unimetal body, and a price tag starting at 1499 Yuan (approx $226 / Rs. 14,500).
Huawei at the launch event emphasized the design of the metal build which conceals the antennas well making for a good seamless look to the phone. It also improves cell reception according to the Chinese brand.
Front and centre of the phone is the 5.65-inch FullView display with Full HD+ resolution. The display comes with on-screen navigation buttons, unlike the Nova 2s which has a front button for such needs. At the core of the device is the 64-bit Kirin 659 chipset with the high frequency of 2.36 GHz.
Talking about the camera, the handset has a 13 MP + 2 MP dual rear camera module and a 8 MP front selfie module. A big plus for the mid-ranger is Android Oreo-based on heavily skinned EMUI 8.0 out of the box.
Though it’s an affordable handset, it packs some neat extras. Huawei offers a Histen sound algorithm with for Hi-Fi sound output and a fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone.
Huawei Enjoy 7S comes in two variants. The 3 GB + 32 GB variant, as pointed earlier is priced 1499 Yuan. While the 4 GB + 64 GB variant will retail for 1699 Yuan (approx $256 / Rs. 16,500). Potential buyers can choose from Black, Blue, Gold, and Rose Gold colour options. Huawei Enjoy 7S will start selling from December 22nd in China.
