We all know that Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Note Fan Edition later this month. A leak from Weibo suggested that the re-furbished version of the Galaxy Note 7 will come with Bixby, Samsung’s latest AI assistant.
Previous reports had also claimed that the AI Assistant will indeed make it’s way to the Note FE. This report confirms the news. This means that the Galaxy Note FE will ship with the latest version of Samsung Experience on top of Android Nougat.
There was some previous doubt whether the device will be called the Note FE (Fan Edition) or the Note 7R( Note 7 Refurbished). But a photo that recently leaked showing a poster of the smartphone before launch in South Korea, has confirmed that it will be called the Fan Edition.
The latest leak also confirms the specifications of the upcoming Samsung phone. The Note FE is set to come with the Exynos 8890 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, much like the original Note 7. However, the battery size is expected to be smaller at 3,200mAh.
Recently, the Note FE was spotted on GFXBench and this revealed that the device would come with a 5.7-inch Full-HD display instead of a Quad-HD display that came with the Note 7.
The leak claims that the price of the Note FE would be somewhere around the 700,000 won ($610)mark. The Note FE is expected to be launched on July 7.
