It’s no secret that Huawei aims to be one of the top guns in the smartphone industry. And if anything the Mate series and the P series are its crown jewels. Huawei has time and again declared its ambition to challenge heavyweights Apple and Samsung, but for that, it will require an arsenal that can compete with the best. And from what we have been hearing, the Huawei Mate 10 impresses us.
The successor to the Mate 9 is expected to adorn an all screen display which has been the in thing this year. This is not a surprise as we have heard this from the horse’s mouth itself. But today we take a look at a render of what could be the Huawei Mate 10. There is a 3D render as well floating around Youtube, which we have linked below.
The fountain head of all Chinese rumors, Weibo has pumped out an image of the upcoming flagship with a bezel-less display, dual cameras and a metal unibody design. The render itself is very iffy and the source is also not a very reputed one. What really catches our eye is the radical design difference. According to the source, this will be a 6.1-inch display with Quad HD resolution. The back has Leica branded dual cameras which are not a surprise. Also, the fingerprint scanner is seen at the back which means no on-screen sensor for Huawei fans too.
Among other rumored specs are an almighty Kirin 970 SoC coupled with 6 GB of RAM. A 4,000 mAh juiced up battery that will power the Android Nougat beast. And Finally, the price of the Mate 10 is expected to breach an eye-watering $1000 barrier. That is no surprise since Huawei has already announced its withdrawing from the low-end segment and will go all arms in the top tier market. The Huawei Mate 10 is expected to arrive in October.
