The Galaxy J7+ is now out for the whole world to see. And no, It’s not an official launch. Some would definitely have thought so. But this is an unofficial bare-all video spanning 4 minutes. What is surprising is that the video appeared on August 13. That is even before the promo images were reported just 2 days back. Furthermore, the video is not by a vague individual, it’s from a well-followed channel called Cambo Report. The channel seems to be in Thai language. Also, there aren’t any other channels that have posted such a video.
The hands-on video mainly focuses on the user interface and the camera of the phone. Mostly, it is similar to what we see on other Samsung phones this year. There is the Briefing page that assimilates all news stories and social media updates in one place. There is no Bixby on the phone, although it was rumored earlier. However, it might arrive via a software update in the future. Also, app shortcuts are present on the UI.
Talking about the camera, we know from prior images that the Galaxy J7+ will sport the dual camera setup. It will be the first mid range smartphone from Samsung to do so. o varying The setup comprises of a 13 MP sensor and a 5 MP sensor. It seems that the camera supports “Live Focus” feature that allows blurring the background to varying degrees.
As for the rest of the specs, the Galaxy J7+ will have the octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset with ARM Cortex A53 64-bit CPU as well as the Mali-T830 GPU. It will have a 5.5-inch FullHD Super AMOLED Display, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal flash storage. The front camera integrates a 16 MP sensor much to the delight of selfie takers. The handset running Android 7.1.1 Nougat will be fuelled by a 3,000 mAh battery and should launch sooner rather than later.
