Now that the NOKIA 6 (2018) is just around the corner, it doesn’t come as a surprise to see some renders coming out from nowhere. Yesterday, images of supposed NOKIA 6 (2018) has been revealed via TENAA certification. It does confirm our previous assumptions regarding the complete design overhaul but the images we have seen [as being a mockup] looks bland and lifeless. Fortunately, there are some talented folks online that dedicate their time and effort to make these mockups look as lively as possible.
The renders that circulated on YouTube is almost identical to the images provided by TENAA yesterday. The top and bottom bezels were sliced off by 50%, making the display relatively taller than the previous model. According to some leaks, the device will either have 5.5″ or 5.7″ Full HD display with 18:9 aspect ratio.
The capacitive buttons are also omitted in favor of on-screen navigational keys. With that said, the fingerprint sensor that once integrated into the home button is now transposed at the back, below the camera plates. The one on the render has a metallic copper accent on the edges, which is far more elegant than the dull red accent we have seen on the TENAA mockups. Hopefully, we got to see some renders with metallic red accents in the future. I think it will look great.
The source also presumed some specifications but we are not going to buy those assumptions as it is so interstellar. Instead, we are just going to focus on previous specs, something that is doable for a midrange device.
