Meizu won’t be releasing a bezel-less phone this year, according to reports coming out of China. However, that hasn’t stopped tipsters from speculating the next Meizu thin-bezel phone. One of them is expected to be the Meizu M6S. The alleged handset has been snapped in the wild earlier as well. But today we’re getting a good look at it in a hands-on video.
The 8-sec video, in spite of being short, showcases the alleged M6S front and rear design. Notably, as we’ve seen earlier, the Mezu M6S harbours a fingerprint reader in the power button itself. A design we’re much used to seeing in Sony flagships. However, it is a design which we feel is interesting and very ergonomic. Another interesting tidbit that gets leaked in the clip is the mblu branding.
The handset in question has a rear with the mblu branding at the lower bottom as you might have seen in the video. This again is something we’ve reported earlier that Meizu is destined to split into two sub-brands. And we might potentially be looking at the first mblu device. It’s a pity the clip doesn’t show the top rear of the phone. This leaves us guessing as to its rear camera configuration.
With 2017 already coming to a screeching halt, we’re bound to see this new handset in early 2018. It will probably be launched in January under the mblu (Blue Charm) brand in China.
